Advice: Selling My Car
I am trying to see my Vauxhall Astra 1.6 8v. I have advertised it on PH and Autotrader with so far one enquiry and viewing. The only positive comment was 'they liked the colour'.
and i want to know, Would the car sell better if the Sebring S/S exhaust (cat back) was replaced with a standard one - OEM type.
Also is it work getting some graphics made for me to stick to the window (s) with the words FOR SALE + phone mumber (and maybe a price ono/ovno)
(I hope this is in the right place for this type of question or would it be better suited to the for sale section??)
-Cheers

Back on topic
IMO yes. Stainless exhaust gives the impression of a boy racer who cant afford a GSI, cruising the streets all night and doing burnouts in an empty car park.
Whereas a standard Astra 1.6 could be a granny car that pops to the shops and back, never really getting very stressed about anything.
All about perception.

Thank you for the comments guys.
Sorry for putting the like to the advert.
Ill buy a new OEM exhaust and have that SS removed.
I am sure that the GSi seats that i have in it car't scare off buyers, surely not? and the clear side repeaters??

*Return to standard
*Ad in the local paper motoring section
*Free ad on Loot online
*Sling it on Ebay with loads of pictures (good clean first, interior/exterior shots and if you have histrory spread it all out and take a pic of that), extensive write up
*Maybe the autotrader as well, but this is more expensive, online only is 15.99 IIRC for 2 weeks

I can't replace the seats as they have gone/sold off. But the GSi ones are far far better.
Exhaust being done tomorrow.
Clear side indicators, have got orignals, but fitting the clears where a bit of a pain.
