Horrible looking focus ST
Saw one at the weekend.
It was in red, not the best colour IMHO ......but the worst thing was that it had the widest stupidest racing stripes going from bonnet to rear bumper. Probably looked ok on the roof but at the back it was cut into three sections to get from the roof, then from the bottom of the window to the number plate, then from the number plate to the bottom of the car ..... So bitty it looked like it had A3 pieces of white paper dabbed all over it .... yuck yuck yuck ......

Saw my first one yesterday and wasn't impressed either. I'm not keen on the revamped Focus anyway, and in ST guise it just looked tacky and awkward to me.
And it was in probably its best colour - black.

I don't think the Fraud ST is a bad looking car, there are far far worse out there, the orange is a bit lairy but if you got one you'd have to get the tango flavoured one

I saw a Matiz with 'racing stripes' the other day!
Can't be doing with the stripes, but I do like the styling, orange or blue for me.
On the TV ad, the car looks like it's had suspension failure it's running so low!

Personaly, I think it looks better than the Impreza (by a mile), is better built than the Impreza, and the interior design/materials/finish is just in another league to the Impreza.
OK, it's not as fast as a STI, but I bet its quicker than a WRX. If I still had my Focus RS (Damn I wish I'd kept it) then I would almost certainly have ordered one (ST3 in Blue). OK, yes, it lacks 4WD which is always better, but in a couple years they might (I hope) bring out the RS Mk II. Hopefully with a slightly more aggressive body kit, but not too much.
The escort Cosworth still looks good today. Much better than any STI or EVO.
I might be biased though. I've always been a fast Ford man.

The ST is a fine car. The stripes are a definite No No. However, those really tacky silver badges on the front wings also need to come off. Lets hope they're just stuck on.

Ditto! Fine car for the money.

Another styling issue for me is the silver rim around the front and rear fogs. Just looks daft on a black car as you have nice shiny black, then silver, then matt black? I have seen STs in blue, silver, red and orange. Silver was the best IMHO.
