7k Budget.........stuck what to get
24 years old. Had 2 scoobies, fancied an evo but insurance too much really. Can afford it but would rather not waste between 2200 and 2.5k on it!
What should i go for.....something older and meaty like a gto or 200sx, or something newer and civilised like a bm.
I am so stuck !

At 24 i had a BMW E30 M3. I paid £900 fully comp, it was a German import and i had 5 years no claims i think. It was a wicked car, reasonably quick, nice locking LSD, handled very well indeed, did 25 mpg and looked like nothing else on the road. I also sold it for a profit !
This was mine:

That was the best car BMW ever made! I had one a few years back and loved it!!!! would have another one as a second car.
Now where did I put that cheque book.
Would deffo recommend one of these in your budget.

The 325 I felt was easier to create a progressive slide when provoked, the M3 was a touch twitchier, but much easier to straighten up. I would consider another one.

GTO? Total pile of cack.
Only you know what you want too. If I was looking at £7k ish then it would be a scoob or an M3 I think. Not keen on the looks of the 200SX.
Outside shot would be an R32 GTR - that will make you smile
