Comp Car = A4 or 320d?
May have option to have company car soon. Choice is between either Audi A4 2.0 tdi or BMW 320d. Are there any good/bad things that I should know about them?
For me, important thing is fuel economy, handling and comfort. Not driven either yet. Been inside the new A4 and it looks a bit small, which may not be what I want...

I have an A4 myself and I dont think the new 3series interior is any bigger.
Out of the 2 the BMW has to be the winner to be honest - the new engine gives 50mpg yet 0-60 is only 8.3, think its 163bhp. The A4 is probably better built, has the nicer interior, looks nicer (IMO) and doesnt have the 'tos$ers car' image, but its only 140bhp and 60 takes about a second longer. Oh and the BM will handle better too...
Those 320d's will be getting VERY common tho as it makes so much sense on a company car lease, its often cheaper than leasing a vectra 2.0 for example, so everyone gets the BMW..

The 3 will defo have better performance. However bear in mind that the 320d is at the nipple of the BMW to$$er image. Also bear in mind being a new model it has very very basic spec, including black plastic door handles, and hubcaps etc

Thanks for the comments. Saw a very nice black A4 TDI this morning which didn't help as I was leaning away from them. It did look a lot nicer in black than the standard silver ones most of the people here go for.
Agree about the image issue with the BMW, but to be honset after driving a MY95 turbo for 7+ years I'm not that bother about what people think
I know the BMW will be near the bottom of the range, so quaility of finsih may suffer. Guess I'll just have to take a close look at them both and see if it's acceptable.
Cheers

Both too similar to judge without trying both yourself mate. Only real clear advantage the BMW has is the slightly better performance and handling which isnt really why you buy a diesel saloon is it and lets face it its not like the Audi is a shabby handler and its far better built.
