Talking 997 GT3

Want one - simple as that. I was never totally convinced by the new 997 911, but I am now.

Have a look at the GT3 website - it's rather good.

I spent a couple of hours cleaning 'her' today

Also had the harnesses fitted in the other day

http://bbs.scoobynet.co.uk/showthread.php?t=494558

Drove for the first time in heavy rain, and was much more stable than the CSL ever was, and the CSL had traction control!

I think with ac/PSM and PCM it weighs only 15kgs more than the 996GT3. Focus groups showed that potential buyers wanted a few more creature comforts. As before there is clubsport and comfort specs.

Rather than stripping cars out, I'd like to see the manafacturers develop lighter weight materials so you can have a supercar/racecar that isn't just a rich mans toy.

15kg to be saved then Can't wait for the RS specs. Hopefully it will look even better

Have to agree that the 997 GT3 is perfectly executed IMHO wheras the 997 turbo seems a little too fusy for my liking....

They'll both be great drivers cars, but I think the GT3 will be the head turner
