My mum and dad went to the gym this morning in his V6 4 Motion, but came back via a lift from the vw garage. The fuel pump had been over flowing and pissing fuel all over the floor. His previous golf, another Mk IV, this time a 1.8T had the same problem.

Anyone else had this problem?

Well if your looking for a reason for the overflowing try www.uk-mkivs.net, its a mkiv forum, i used to be there when i had my GTi. this never happened to me but my mk iv did suffer from many other common problems.
