I should of said when safe to do so, i.e. when its quiet, out of town and back off before it gets silly. Porsche didnt think the Cayenne was quick enough with 450 bhp so they have introduced the Cayenne Turbo S with 520, a bit obscene really giving your average school run mummy that much potential kinetic energy availble at the flex of a Jimmy Choo !

A while back I had a go at a stickered-up Supra TT with a huuuuge tailpipe.
Fair do's to him, he hoofed it, there was a monster puff of soot from the pipe and he was gone like a shot

Cant say I can remember ever having my **** soundly kicked. Played with plenty of 911's a howling 360 challenge Stradale amongst others. Scoob always more than held its own in a striaght line..... Oh I tell a lie a friend passed me like I was going backwards on his Rizla, stood on his foot pegs and waved his **** at me as he passed

I find that any Ford Turbo with a 'non faulty' -31 actuator is invincible.
And don't start me on Nova's and Saxo's If someone down the (benches outside the..) Pub hadn't told me (thirdhand), I almost wouldn't believe it. They are fast!!!!!!!!!
Actually, I find buses the hardest. Its almost as if they have their own lane

I had a wee go with a Sapphire Cosworth a few months ago. I was following and keeping up quite well until he started slowing down. I passed him and all I could here was a very rough and sick sounding Cosworth engine. I didn't stop as it was the motorway but I hope he got home alright.

Having owned an Impreza I like to think I know their strengths and weaknesses. So it's always nice to have a go at them where I think I'll win ie under heavy braking if it looks like a standard car or in the 70+ range where the brick like aerodynamics/drivetrain losses mean the Impreza isn't all that quick.

Got completely stuffed by a Superbike when I had my modified Sti3.
Long long straight off a roundabout (private road of course), floored it, he was behind as we approached 100 then just took off & left me standing.

I assume you realise they are just sat at 90mph with the cruise control on and as long as the chav they are flashing has moved out of the way they dont care whether he has pulled over for a picnic or done a nightride impression for 500 yards before slowing down.

Did the modded RS/GT Turbo thing years ago when they were the current in thing to have. I have moved on from 200plus fwd cars, but still have the memories. And the BBS logins
Those garret actuators just cause sooo much problems.

Got overtaken whilst driving like pslewis by an Evo MR340 along a road that my dad has been driving along for 14 years pretty much everyday. My dad decided to do the sensible thing and drop a cog and boot it ('02 WRX). We followed him down the straight piece of road he had overtaken us on with him disappearing into the distance..... then the first twisty bit we caught right up with him, then he disappeared on the straight. The next twisty bit we cought up again, he disappeared on the straight. He only eventually got away when he overtook a merc which we had to wait to overtake. Shows what knowing every single braking point and limit of every corner on a road can do! Should have seen my dad in his old Motobuild tuned Elise!!!

The same car took a 380Bhp Evo 6SGR round Silverstone 2 months before. I then knew how HE felt.

Not had my ar$e kicked yet in my current car. Had a pop with a 911 a couple of times on the way to work, reckon hes a fairy driver though as I left him easily, I know he was trying though but probably a woman driver who doesnt know how to go past 5k revs or something.
Apart from that not really had anything else try to race, S2000 but spat that out quite comfortably. Oh yeah forgot a UK Impreza and R33 GTS-S 305bhp again, pulled comfortably away.

My standard WRX passed some big lanky streak of **** with a perm in a bugatti veyron a couple of weeks ago. It was worth it just to hear the noise from his dump valve.

I'll have a go against anything
My best race was with an Escort Cosworth that had an estimated 380bhp (pub talk). I left him for dead on two occasions and when we stopped he made the usual excuses that he didn't redline it .
Saying that, I have frequently lost to most of mates in their Cosworths, but that was on dual carriageways
Also got obliterated by an Evo VI , but its all in good fun
Currently saving for that Bugatti

I used to "have a go" in the early years of my Impreza ownership (2001) and on my first bimmer (2004-5 whilst keeping the Impreza for sunday runs). All that's past me now. I know what my current car is capable of, but what's the point (what I usually tell the officer)
