Looking for another Car to replace my MG ZTT 190+

Must be less than £10K
similar size to MG
Decent boot and rear legroom
A level faster than MG and previous 3.2 vectra
Not too expensive on Parts/service

Ideas so far

Saab 9-5 areo
MG ZT V8
Jag Xtype 3.0 sport

Any other suggestions or experiences???

Does it have to be under X years old??

Is an Impreza out of the equation... if taken to a Specialist, then they can be pretty reasonable to service.

You wont get a ZT V8 for less than ten grand, the Saab will be a bit quicker but the handling isnt a patch (my dad has the 190 and it really drives well), my uncle has the 260 and its VERY thirsty and not massively quicker, it is quicker but not night and day, Dont know about the Jag but I cant imagine its in another league. Depends whether you want it to feel quicker, the the Saab is for you, the turbo shove is great but not that much faster.

 

Is an impreza big enough???

keep the zt and spend a bit of money to get more power out of it,you can get a nasp 220 bhp for 2/3 k or a superchager for 4k,the 190 is only in fact about 180 they never make the power so another 40/50 bhp will bring it to life

 

Early Octavia vRS, and then take it to AMD.

 

try an audi S4 think that will be just what you are looking for!

 

yep another vote for Audi S3, can pick them up for around that money now.
