Try Liverpool Victoria, I insured a 2000(X) 360F1 for a smidge over £1050...
I phoned them up 4 times to double triple quadruple check before I bought it though, had another quote of £4k .
The S2000 was £1000 though
go figure... (Bell were cheapest for the S)

haha did they do a credit check 1st to make sure you couldnt afford the car!!
Im getting an S2k next year - Insurance on the S2k worth £12k (FC) is cheaper than my UK impreza worth £4k (TPFT) work that 1 out!!
