Cool From modest saab 9000 Aero to...erm....this!

Hi chaps

After looking at various other things (Audis, M3s, STIs etc) I ended up with this...

Am I to be shunned from SN now?

I forgot the smilie after my 'shunned' comment.

Anyway, i got myself a 1996 Evo IV. Its pretty much a fresh import.
65000 miles.

Its even got some goodies on it.

If its a valver (1.8 16V or even better a Williams) post some pics. There are a few fans of them on here me being one.

So I am the only Saab owner in the village !

Very nice but quite a change of image, from mild mannered, considerate, intelligent, esoteric Saab driver to er, Evo owner, about as far as you can go in one change of vehicle, do you have the sudden insatiable urge to wear a rally style jacket and baseball cap ?

Only messing, it looks nice, just wish I could get away with that with my missus, she still hasnt forgiven me for the Fiat Coupe turbo, In fact, I havent forgiven me for the Fiat Coupe Turbo !

Ya know,i was quite sorry to see the Saab go,and that aint like me at all..24k in 15 months and i only put a pair of new tyres on,apart from a couple of services...
Personally i needed a change, but if a nice Aero comes up i would weigh the M3 against it,no prob!!!

I too was very sad to see the aero go. That was my 7th saab over the last 15 years. I think over that time the longest that I was without one was the year that I had my Scoob.

I just had to have a change. I'm in no doubt that I will return to saab ownership at some stage but for now im really enjoying a car that likes corners as much as me. Oh, and I've got the Evo aswell!

cheers guys
