why does every thread in here end up being ,mines faster than yours ,yeah but your not taking into account transmission losses,what if its wet,yeah but id waste ya in the twisties ,,yeah but you dont understand power to weight ratio,fwd is crap,scoobs quicker off the mark ,yeah but not from 30-100 mph so which is the quicker car,but that costs twice as much so it should be faster,,yeah but when i get a remap ill waste ya,not if i get a de cat,yeah but that car looks gay,,yeah but your car hasnt got that burble of a flat four,,your talking about grip not handling,my car was not running right,,yeah but i had cheap petrol in not the normal optimax,say what ya want my 350 bhp monster will kill all of you,it wont kill so and so's 1000bhp skyline,yeah but we werent talking about modded cars were talking about standard cars, i wasted a wrx in my ----heap,no chance in your french ----box,,wrx's are sloooow ,how can anyone call 0-60 in 5.8 seconds slow,yeah but mine does 40 mpg try that in ya scoob,yeah but ive got 4 doors ya ********,,scoobs are gonna cost an arm and a leg to maintain,yeah but ya pug will drop to bits in a month,yeah but pugs handle scoobs dont,scoobs have respect though you say you drive a scooby and folks take notice,scoobs are the new cheap chav mobile,classic is faster than bugeye,bugeye handles better,yeah but its ugly,build quality is loads better though,he caught me napping in the wrong gear,but you have no torque in ya 16 valve screamer,it doesnt feel as fast but actually it is ,i wouldnt want a car i had to rev its nuts off to go anywhere,,turbos are best,,vtec is best,vvt is best,superchargers best,my dad will beat your dad ,my ***** is bigger than yours,doubt it ive got 8 inches ,ive got 10 inches pal and ive got video to prove it plus it goes from limp to wood in under 6 seconds.
all someone has to do is mention a car other than a scooby and ten pages of verbal will follow very quickly,anyway you get the picture,all this appears in every thread and then it all starts again and again and again and again .

because....us scoob owners are rightly proud of our cars, we bought them because we know that they are performance vehicles (in the main), therefore, when troll types come onto the board and go on about their Nova thrashing a bugeye or how crap scoobs are, we get upset.
We rightly defend our choice of cars, what if someone was to come up to you in the street and tell you your partner was a munter, you would have something to say and rightly so.
