Honda CRV.
One drove into me a few week back - it did quite a lot of damage to my car, but her car was relatively unscathed - which is good for insurance I am sure
P.S it came 2nd in a group test on 5th gear, beaton only by the Nissan Xtrail

One of them tried sitting a foot off my exhaust, headlights blazing, as I was overtaking a bus on the local bypass last week. I booted it in 5th and to give him his due he kept up for a bit....
..........when he eventually passed me (overtaking me on hatched markings, in a 30 mph zone, and on the approach to a roundabout
), I noted that it was a diesel. It seemed to go quite well

My wife has an 05 2.2ctdi sport and she likes it. Great diesel engine (same as the accord) quite punchy and refined and she still gets 37-40mpg in a car shaped like a brick.
A little rolly in the bends for my liking, and the interior dash is looking a bit dated but all in all a good car.
She chose it over the xtrail due to it has better mpg, better performance and is a lot more car-like to drive where the xtrail sounds and feels like you are driving a van. I think the nissan is the better looker though and nicer interior.
