Mitsubishi 3000 GT / GTO.
Picture of a 3000 GT
The VR4 version featured four wheel steer, four wheel drive 3.0 V6 twin turbo. 320 hp, 315 lb/ft tragically weighed almost 1700kgs, but did a 5.5 0-60 and 14 sec 0-100.
I spotted one last night giving it some and it went / handled quite well. But i never really see them compared to Skylines and Supra's. Is there anything tragically wrong with them ?
BTW £3000 - £13000 for all on Autotrader.

They weigh more than Michelle McManus ater a chocolate eating binge.
Supposedly the second turbo is quite "weak", and lose power/fail - though I may be talking ****e. I recall this when a magazine compared them with RX7, 300zx and a Supra.
Supra is so much better and nicer.
imo.

good cars , i had one a couple of years ago,
they have good traction but the weight of them is a pain in the a*se for the handling!!
very good in straight line and quite comfy too a good GT car!
heavy on petrol though and i would get a supra instead!

GTO's just don't do it for me. They are far too heavy, and I've heared the handling really isn't up to much. More of a GT car than an out and out sports car.
I'm not sold on the looks either, they look a bit American and dated. And no matter what size wheels people put on them, they never seem to fill the arches properly.
