Nissan Skyline GTS (not GTR)
Hi there,
Anyone know anything about these cars?
Looking specifically at the GTS model - 2.5 litre, single turbo, RWD, 250 bhp.
Never sold officially in the UK but plenty have been imported. Going for reasonable money now.
Cheers.
Martin.

All I know is that I got stuck behind one yesterday morning on the way to work, on a back road. The weather was ****e, poaring down and it was traveling at a pissy 45mph. Its Purple with a god awfull white strip down the middle.
First straight we came to, it was in my rear view mirror.

used to have one mate, white GTS-T
as someone mentioned above, unlike other jap performance cars, they do feel very heavy and are pretty sluggish when standard. I had a mushroom air filter and a super dragger exhaust which give it that little zing. Still my sti wagon feels much quicker although the noise on the skyline was brilliant. And yes may be chav ish but the HKS dump valve did sound good
If ure after good perfromance, forget it but if ure after poor mans GTR then go for it which im sure theres nothing wrong with as ure paying around 14k+- for a R33 GTR, here ure paying like 5-6 k for very nice GTS-T
cheers

I'd personally go for an S14a over a GTST - for the same money, you'll get a much newer car, with less mileage generally, full leather, cheaper to mod, lighter, more chuckable and capable of going from 197bhp to 270bhp for less than 1k.
