Did anyone buy a Clio Trophy ?
I know there was lots of chat about this model when last months EVO came out, but does anyone know anyone who bought one, or drove one or indeed has one themselves??
I am not sure if i have seen one or not. I see 182's in that red colour but i never know which bloody model it is anyway - i think the seats and rear spoiler are about the only subtle tweaks aren't they ??

The one I saw on Saturday also had grey wheels. Now I'm not a Clio expert but it was these that drew my eyes and then I noticed it was a Trophy.
Didn't buy one - just saw it in the car park at B and Q

i was interested in buying one til i found out it was just a standard 182 in a different colour and a set of wheels, originally their were rumours flying about that this clio was going to be 220bhp, once i heard it wasn't i didn't bother getting one.

Saw one fly past me in the opposite direction on a good section of twisty B-Roads yesterday... Looked nice, different colour and dark wheels.

Other ways to tell:
- Alloys - Speedline Turini's in anthracite (mulitspoke)
- Rear Spoiler - It's massive compared to the 182 or Cup
- Badges - Trophy decals on the sides

[QUOTE=Rich D]The Trophy colour is not used on any other Clio's it's a definate red colour, wheras the 182's are more orangey, it's called Inferno.
Actually, you can get ordinary Clios in Capiscum red too.
Saw a trophy at Goodwood and it looked good to me.

You can (or could) specify inferno for the 182 cup as well

Well, you can't get the 182 Sport or Cup in that colour, I know that for sure...

One of my guys had one - my recomendation. Apart from the usual dealer incompetence, he loves it. For me the car is spoiled by the 1.2 style rear seats. Just a bit too much pennypinching
