Good tyres for low road noise and economy

My wife needs some tyres for her MX5 and she does lots of motorway miles. I want to reduce the road noise - any suggestions for quiet tyres??

I've just changed the Conti SportContacts on my Passat to Vredestein Ultracs which are MUCH quieter on all types of motorway surface.

Contis were great for longevity but quite hard and noisy.
