For Audi it depends on year, model and engine.

Most are Variable servicing with upto 2 years and 20k miles for Petrol and 30k miles for diesels between servicing. Cambelt depends on engine.

BMW (non-M series )

Usually go in this order

Oil service
Inspection I
Oil service
Inspection II

Depending on engine that it has its around 12 to 18months or 15k miles,

It works out that Inspection II is at roughly at 4 years/60K. The second Inspection II (roughly 8years/120K) has a few extra items but nothing major

Oil service being cheapest, and Inpection II being the most expensive. No cambelt (chain) Most autoboxes are sealed for life, so just coolant, spark plugs, manual gearbox and final drive oil, filters and inspection of braking, drivetrain, suspension components and reading fault codes.

Plus a 2year brake fluid service.

M BMWs have the above done alot more frequently

Volvos, except R models, 2005 on, 15k intervals with the belt change at 102k, i think.

Pre 05 12k intervals, 40(ish)k plugs and filter, around 80k belt.

R every 10k 40 plugs filters, 80 k belt.

Audi have normal and extended on the tdi, I have just had the wifes cambelt done on the v6 2.5 tdi cost a small fortune with a service tad under a grand.
Stick to BMW ran these for years and was never shocked with the service costs as for Audi? well...

Get your Audi serviced at an independant or Skoda dealer, cheap as chips.

VAG parts tend to be 30% cheaper from Skoda dealers as well. Same part in the same box.

1.9TDi 2 year service with long life variable service oil and 2 year brake fluid change £160

Cheers
