Default Mitsi EVO 6 & 7

What is the difference between the two models? What sort of money are they worth and what do you need to look out for on them. The reason being is that i have got my V7 STI Wagon up for sale (with £5000 upgrades) and i have been offered several of these by people wanting to px. It is a bit strange that if the mitsi is supposedly better than the scoob, why am i being offered so many in px?

I think the main reason people get rid of them, is because of the serviceing every 3500 miles and eating clutches every 12000 miles or so.

Evolution 6 is regarded by some as the best model ever built, similar to the last of the classic shape STi's before the infamous bugeye came along.

You will not be disappointed with a 6, if you can find a mint, low mileage, unabused example, I'd go for it.

Servicing is every 4,500 or 6 months so they are quite "high maintenance" in that regard.

4.5k service intervals is only to Retorque the Diff on GSR models. The engine does not need to be serviced every 4.5K.

Its a 'mis-assumption', or 'Disconnect'- To be polite
