I had a 20 VT before the RB5, and from 30mph to 100mph in 3rd gear it was pretty dam quick, 1.5 seconds quicker than an M3 apparently, very under estimated car and great fun to drive...

Meant to be quick, especially if slightly played with. Make sure of service history especially cam belts, they're meant to be an expensive job at the dealer so some risk their luck and hope it won't go pop, unfortunately my nieghbours just has looks like a big bill for him all 20 valves bent.

Yeah, cambelt costs make Subaru's look cheap!!

Have driven one (damp road, its Scotland after all!) .... wasnt too impressed, plenty of power and torque, but whats the point if theres no bloody traction!

A 20v took me by surprise once .... 300 bhp sti.. rear view mirror... aye aye... 3rd gear... planted... hang on still there.... grumble... grrr... must have a s0dding boost controller grumble...

I agree VERY quick car, total sleeper IMO.

Cheap fun... but finding a *good one... (read: no rust and well serviced... ) heck even if it is serviced it is still a Fiat so will fall apart if it rains...

Well spec'd tho and a few bargains to be had... still a Fiat. lol
