Default Just bought a *****

Clio Williams 2... wow, its a toy, i love it, i feel 18 again LOL

After nearly two months looking at scoobys all of which were badly repaired in their previous life i decided to get somthing else, i noticed the prices falling on the clio and i just went for it!!

95 M reg, 62k FSH, cat 1 alarm, superchipped, devil exhauist, vipper induction, konis, mp3 player, momo interior all for £2800

The only thing that the car needs attention on is an electric mirror switch isnt working and the brakes dont seem 100% yet.

wow, im going out to play

Im actively looking at these too. Good price you got there. Apparently theyre no slouch handling wise or up the strip even.

Havnt tested the handling much as its the first day 2day but one thing is for sure the steering is weighted beautifully!! (shame about the breakes)

Excellent cars loads of experts and info over at www.williamsclio.co.uk

If you need brakes Mark from Ritchspeed Imports does a very well priced Wilwood 4 pot kit, he's over on Williamsclio.co.uk too.

Have fun they are great little motors.

I noticed how you didn't bother to recommend Dave at BB's well priced front and rear disk/pad combo instead there Rob! £400+ or 4 pots that actually stop the car... hmm, it's a tough one!

Think the Wilwoods from Mark are around 350ish, normal ***** wheels are 15" Speedlines.

PM Mark Ritchspeed on Williamsclio.co.uk he does one of the cheapest prices for the Wilwoods.

The brakes on the ***** are hit and miss, some people complain they are crap but I think they are not too bad, well on mine, I've done about 4 trackdays in mine and they have held up, albeit I have gone through some pads in the process.

As Monkey says, Mark's kit's are unbelievable value, WELL worth getting imo. As regards the wheels yup, those are deffo the Cup and Trophy wheels re-furbed and I think they look amazing. I'd still get some original ***** wheels though for the residuals and not to mention the fact they only weigh 7kg's a piece!

OK, once it stops raining i'll get sum pictures done and then one of you guys cold put them up please....

Im finding most of the clio forums require membership fee's to be able to post on, arnt there any free bee ones?, will eventually get membership on a site probably renaultsportsclub.co.uk as my car has them stickers on her....

I'll tell you what yesterday was the first day that i drove the car propperly, was really impressed, im cumming from a pants nissan 200 s13 and the clio is a joy to drive, the handling is amazing not to mention the accelleration, the gears flow in so easily and just pulls in any gear maybe that has somthing to do with the superchip!!

The last owner had access to his brother 182 sport and said to 60 they were identicle but after that the 182 pulled on the *****.. Cant argue with that!!

P.S devil exhaust and 3500-4000 rpm in fifth dont go down well, its so loude my date last nite couldnt get a word accross in the car..... not a bad thing i suppose!!! lol :-))

Happy days
