Following on from my thread about Omega V6's my friend has scoped out a couple of these for sale and is wondering if they are a worthy alternative to the Vauxhalls.
Anyone had any experiences with these cars??
He's after the 3.2V6 Auto.. Are they RWD or FWD??
He's making the assumption that mileage isnt a huge factor with these cars as long as its got decent wad of history with it.. However, are there any known problems with them??
Any ideas where to get info (Performance, Economy, etc) about them??
Cheers,
Grant

Hi there
All from memory so here goes;
Was originally a Rover 800 series built in Japan (i believe) with a decent 2.7 (again i think) engine and build quality.
Should go on for ever and be reliable as hell being a Honda!
try for more info

also have a look at Mitusbishi Galant 24V 2.5's which are cheap as chips and great cars - i have a Sport model which i love dearly.
Honda will be better specced and have more toys thou'

Although I think they rust the Legend. My best mates dad had a brand new E reg [or F]one when I was at school. As you can imagine I thought it was the best car on the planet as he used to drop me off at swimming in it. They look dated now though. I would defiantly get a Volvo t5 if I wanted a big cheap guzzler - or does it need to be a V6 ?

Later 3.5 litre V6 ones are prob the ones he is looking at rather than the rover 800 sister cars.
The later ones are FWD and were built for the US market. Dont expect any fireworks in the handling dept.
I used to like the look of the old 3.2 litre Coupe version you could get on a J plate.
