Vauxhall service around Kingston, Surrey?

Mate has a Vectra, I think GSi or SRi, about 5 yrs old (thus out of warranty). He's happy with the Vauxhall dealer service, but gets charged dealer rates, which can be a bit painful. Can anyone recommend a decent independent in the area, as he's reluctant to try anyone else for fear of getting burned?
