BMW M3 CSL

They don't make it new. A fair few about second hand, from £38.5k I've seen advertised for a car that was listed at £60k 2 years ago..it's a bit of a marmite car, trackday folk love it, speculators hated it as lost so much money and BMW badge poseurs didn't like it because it was relatively uncomfortable on the road.
Not available new, but the £43k new M3 CS has launched over here with many of the good bits, but heavier and with normal M3 interior (5 seats etc) Think that will hurt CSL values even more.

I had a CSL for 2 months, just sold it this week.
Amazing cars, and now available for 37k.
Not best for long motorway experiances, but for track work, an amazing bit of kit.
And the sound is AMAZING.

I want to try and blag a passenger lap (in a CSL) on my next ring trip. Of all the cars I've ever seen there, the CSL is the single one I would love to own/part my money with as a track car and daily drive. I may change my mind after going in one, but I somehow doubt that.
As for THAT sound - amazing and unique.

To be honest I just fancied a change, but with winter around the corner I also fancied something with 4wd again.
I also miss all the 'toys' of the M3, so it's nice to have those back.
But I would definatly buy a CSL again.

Only a few 911's I'd prefer over a CSL!! ....and they are massively more expensive.
So, no - CSL for me all the way.

So it came down to GT3 or Turbo, GT3 is too simular to the CSL, a track car, so in the end it had to be a Turbo.
