Default Jag XJ-R in the wet

Old guy in a supercharged Jag tried to show me how it's done on the way home from work. I was impressed in a straight line, he pulled away quite well. Shame he nearly spun it on a roundabout and did the untidiest drift ever onto a motorway slip road while I shot by Good laugh, though and all at legal speeds in the wet

Fair play to him for driving it thought. I should imagine they're quite a handful in the wet.

My dads old boss wrecked 2 XJR's booting them in the wet, he was rewarded for his efforts with a Diesel Vectra.

they're a nightmare in anything but the driest conditions.

I went to Le Mans this year in an XJR 100 and it was superb. But, it did rain when we were coming home in the uk and it was all over the place. 400bhp + auto box = maaaaaajor rear wheel spinning action. However, they're almost totally undriftable. The cars owner still has a handful (and a seatfull ) every time he gets it sideways. Still the 996 Turbo we followed through france got a tad annoyed....i'll be he thought we were a bit quick for a Jag Sovereign!

I'd still have one tho.....never been in a car that's so quick yet so comfortable. We were well over the ton before you began to hear any wind noise at all....
