I agree 100% that the old Charger is without doubt **THE Charger**, but I've already got an old American muscle car/truck and I use my Scoob as a daily hack for commuting and shopping etc. Just wondering what you guys think of it as a stand alone car for daily use rather than comparing to the classic Charger of old. Feel free however to compare it to modern cars......
So, we're talking what do you think of it as a new car in comparison to other new cars 'cos we all know the old Charger is the daddy?
Could a Scoob be replaced by one for example...?

on another note....quite like the website, cool little animations of how the engine components work and stuff.....for the nerd in me!
0-60 = around 5 seconds

SirFozz,
Aint it a damn fine website, little videos and all sorts! Makes most Euro manufacturers websites pale into insignificance doesn't it? Euro/Jap car manufacturers take note!
Paulp,
Excellent point, I've seen a few new Mustangs up close and they have done a great job tying the retro and new together. Bit of a shame Dodge tried to make it a family four door rather than a two door with decent styling cues from the old one...
Seems like muscle cars are making a bit of a comeback...?

I was in Canada a few weeks ago and a new Dodge Charger pulled up at the motel i was staying in.
It has soooo much presence! It looks huge, so i dont know if it would be much good on British roads, fast in a straight line though.

Its gotta be one of the most gorgeous looking cars ever produced! If they remade these, I'd have my name down for one straight away. It goes to show that the Yanks can get it right from time to time, but they seem to be going for the "Box" on wheels look these days. Makes a Volvo look aero-dynamic
