Default Anyone value a BMW 740i

M reg, 118,000 miles, Full BMW service history, grey, leather, cruise control, climate, leccy everything etc. Condition looks rather tidy.

Anyone driven one? Any good?

My uncle has one. Only thing that went wrong was 2 cats were required at 204000 miles - other than that they are spot on. Average 22-30 mpg do 155 and handle quite well. But depending on condition the car you described is 5-7k's worth. not bad for a 10 year old £50k car.

Never worth £7k for an 11 year old car. £5k would be the very top end i would have thought possibly even £4k.

Its a great car good buy but also a potential time bomb and everyone knows it.

I'd put it at around the £3.5k mark...irrespective of what they are advertised for, they are worth very little.........

Just saw one (had a look round it) at a local 2nd hand car dealer at £3995. Full history and looks tidy and with all the toys plus a big V8 that'd go on forever if looked after is mighty tempting. However, I REALLY want an Audi A8 yum yum yum but they're quite rare. In no hurry so just looking at the market over the coming months.

3.5k to 4.5k max...its an early one, make sure the nikasil issue has been dealt with, and its the 286bhp version.Has it got any extas?M tec parallel rims, coded bumpers and skirts,m tec suspension??is it a good colour?

Ive had one...beautiful car, expensive if they go wrong...mine never did...

Price varies a lot,if its standard and blue, white etc go for the 3.5k....But if its silver, oxford green with all the bits..4.5k...

£3k-£4k. No one wants them anymore due to the cost of repairing when they go wrong.
