Skoda Octavia coilovers (KW Variant 2) - rear??
Friend has just bought KW Variant 2 coilover kit on a Octavia vRS. The front is a coilover unit however the rear is a regular shock and spring setup, and it's Koni...?!?
Does anybody on here have coilovers on there Octavia?? Is the above correct? I'd hate to think he's been 'ad with cheaper rear kit!!

there are some Octavia owners on here who will know. It's KW Variant 2's but on the rear Jabba have fitted non coilover Koni equipment - seems very odd to me.

so are there any kits that have proper coilovers on the rear?
Mannyo, any ideas how your v2's have been setup, ie. how long and rebound?

I must admit, I do find this rather strange. Surely you pay for coilovers you shoulds get coilovers. If you buy KW you get KW, why have they put non Coilover, non KW on the variant 2 which is not a cheap kit, and according to KW nearly top of the range??
Why use Koni and not their own shock??
Fecking weird.

You can, the V3 has coilovers on the rear on the Octy.

Okey dokey here goes:
1. The Octy cannot have coilovers on the rear, without some serious mods.
2. The V1s are mad by a firm I can't remember, the V2 are koni inserts in a KW body, only the V3 are fully built in house by KW. The 3s are built to order.
3. They are not sold as coilovers, people just seem to call them that.
I've had 2 sets of 3s, one for the black 1.4 and 1 set for my current SDI Very nice they are too
