Sounds like it has had an awful lot of work done to it. I bet it was no simple task fitting that Rover V8, and then sorting out all the dials, etc.
Not sure why he went for one of those V8's though. Did not think you can normally get more than 200bhp out of the 3.5l. Would not think that it can outdo a 944 Turbo if that is the case.
I think I'll stick to my scoobie

Hmm interesting.
The instant snap-response of normal aspiration breathing through a 4barrel carb,
The lightness of an all alloy block
the torque of a V8
The balance of a rear mounted gearbox.
Ideas were there - Pity it wasn't an LS6 engine
And for a buy it now of £5,750.00 ....better off with a old Wedgie TVR

Seen much better conversions at way cheaper prices. Nearly bought one with a 4.6 rover engine. As it was fuel injected it did without the gay bonnet scoop and that was only £3500.
Oh and check out http://www.renegadehybrids.com/ if you want to stick an LS1 in a 924.

They also do a chevy powered 911 conversion ...there was one of these not far from where I live. I never found out how much BHP it was running but it was an extremely fast car, would chew up and spit out almost every other car on the road
