Default MG ZT 260

Been offered a brand new one of these for £9000, no warranty. Is it worth considering, anyone driven one? Certainly seems somewhat of a bargain

A £28/£30,000 car for £9,000 and you have to ask????

It's a bargain! Independant warranty will cost about £1,000 a year with RAC, etc.
If you like the car it's a steal.

Where were you offered this car?

Should be getting confirmation next week, will let you all know what happens. I am told there are ten available, price is conditional on all being bought at once. Not sure what colours available, but believe they are SE spec.

Not sure why any company would sell them at that price (even Ebay them !), double that and they would be cheap, nine grand doesnt even get you a reasonable hot hatch, at 15 grand they are still cheaper than a Civic Type R, I like the Type R but the ZT is a lot more car for the money and very competent if you read the qrite ups.

If (and its a big if) you manage to get one for nine grand, speak to Roush who will provide a Supercharger kit for 5 grand, for less than fifteen grand a brand new 400 bhp monster, still cheaper than leggy five year old M5's which is the nearest thing around with that grunt and better looking.

The car will achieve 5-20 mpg i would realistically think. This would be due you you backing off the throttle then holding it to the red line everywhere you go listening to the sound of music !!! V8 power rules !

That's what I'm thinking, although I've no reason to suppose the person who told me has got it wrong. Like I said, I'm expecting to hear more next week and will obviously let everyone know who has expressed an interest
