Presume you mean a C2, in which case it wont do 185mph, or a GT2, different kettle of fish altogether!

I've had the pleasure of driving a couple of 996TT's and they are awesome cars. I will have one as my next car.
If you want an even more exciting slice of pork, try a GT3, not quite as fast, but the most complete car/driving experience you can imagine. I drove the TT and GT3 back to back, The TT was awsome, but the GT3 was the biggest hit of adrenalin I've ever had, it sent a shiver down my spine, simply perfect!

It is may plan to have both sat in my garrage within the next five years.

"There is only one" though, the GT2 has to be the ultimate.

I can well imagine this is the case. Unfortunately I've yet to have the pleasure of driving one.
I've heard of a Ruf-R GT2 with 630bhp that may be for sale very soon. Now that's got to be awesome! It's the one that has one V-max a couple of times.

I'll have to make do with my old 996 C2

This is quite correct. I have recently had a race with my friends Fezza 360 and only two days ago a Gallardo in my 996.

However, if I see a WRX that I think could have a panel filter mod, I stay well clear! There's no point in embarrassing myself now is there.

Also beware the 'chipped' Golf/Seat turbo diesels their low down torque will leave a turbo charged Porsche in their black smoke. This is defo true because owners have reported it here

Less pi$$ taking of the WRX, as you well know it will beat any and i do mean any other car 'in the twisties' execpt maybe an STI PPP'd with velour embossed mats

Sounds like a great drive, been to Millbrook a few times with work, shame you cannot take piccies without a jobsworth reporting you.
