Renault Megane Dynamique, DCi 100
as above anyone owned or driven one, am thinking of getting one as my company car.
the spec list sounds very good and the interior is very nice.
basically just wanted to hear from those who have driven or owned one. am due a test drive in one the weekend.
sadly i cant get the 120bhp 1.9 version.
so any thoughts or comments greatly recieved
cheers

they are a fine car with lots of toys and great CO2 and great value
but your friends with laugh at you
as a company car they make a lot of sense, although the shame finally forced me to chose another one

Interior nice? Its awful, not seen something so plasticy since the 80's I thought the driving position was abysmal, when I had the seat in a comfortable place I would have had to physically reach forward to change into gears 1 and 3. Rubbish.
Boss had a hire one for a couple of weeks, new, hardly any miles, with the 120 engine. He's had loads of cars and the only thing he could say was good about it was the engine..............

We compared a megane to Golf, 306 and Honda Civic. The Megane was, being blunt, bloody awful in comparison. By far the worst drive in every way, and a class below the opposition. Really surprised about that, as we were replacing a clio that we liked.
Ended up with a 1.6 honda civic.
