YOu'd buy that with the lotto? Hmmm, I think I'd go for something bright red, normally aspirated and rear wheel drive!

Since it was bought in us dollars and mentionsi'm gonna guess its gonna be shipping to america, how the hell are they gonna get it into the country?

you can't even import a 22b and there is more than 20 of those in the world, from what i've been told about us rules and regs its like getting a square peg into a round hole, anyone have any idea how they might actually do this?

also isn't it now ilegal to drive a r34 on the road in america?

They charge in USD since it's easy to convert a lot of Asian (& hence RHD countries) currencies into USD. It's better for the buyers cos they don't suffer currency risk as quite a few Asian currencies are either pegged to the USD (Hong Kong being one of them), or are very strong against the USD (e.g. Aussie dollars).
The car is expensive cos NISMO buys the base car from the 2nd hand market (they have a set criteria & will choose the best ones available), and then they completely restore & modify the car. A bit like the Mine's R32 GT-R sold in Japan last year.

I thought I had heard something about them being almost a reconditioned car, just to a really high level.

But whats this about R34s being illegal in the States? Is it an emissions thing?
