My mates MY98 S plate 1.8 Focus has developed a problem with the speedo. Sometimes when driving along, the speedo drops to zero but the car drives as normal. However, sometimes when it has dropped and he is going very slow the car cuts out.
Any ideas?

Just searched on another site and found my answer. It seems it's a vehicle speed sensor problem. I get the impression from the site that it's even more common than a Scoob's maf failure Don't think they can destroy an engine though

or focus's are that slow ,lol
heheheh yep probably the speed sensor or idle control
