Question RAC Warranties anyone had experience with them?

Looking at taken out a RAC Warranty on my 4 year old Seat Alhambra 1.9 TDI. (Pricing is £399 1st year + £30Turbo+£30Air Con) Rising to £599 +£90Turbo + £90Air Con for 3 years cover)
Seems steep to me as £800 for peace of mind (depending how good they are if I were to claim) is a lot of dosh. Anyone had dealings with them?
Any advice welcome.

Many dealings as I say to almost all people - it will be wear & tear; & that isn't covered...find a betting shop & back a horse you fancy.

Your chances are far greater of getting something back....

I used to deal with RAC warranties when working for Nissan & then Mercedes, I found them to be the best by far with respect to fair claim settlement.

Obviously this is dependent on the actual cover taken in the first place & as mentioned before all warranties generally exclude failure due to wear & tear.

thats very steep i have an RAC warranty (Gold i think) on my Audi S3, includes 4wd, turbo and aircon cover (not cat cover) for £13 a month, cover is for 27 months but only pay for 24.

so overall is just over £300 for 27 months cover. I was sold it by their sales team after i HPI'd the car through them so may have been an offer at the time.
