4x4 advice
Me and the missus and the dog needs another car with a bit more room!
Had a look at the Honda CRV and nissan X-trail diesels today and can't decide which is the one to go for or any other cars that might fit our needs.Price wise they are roughly the same but the nissan salesman is the more willing to negogiate the price.
Any comments or sugggestions welcome.

ain't gonna be as cheap as an X-Trail but deffo worth a look!

I prefer the Honda personally, I don't think I could get used to the speedo in the middle of the dash as it is in the Nissan .

Thanks for replies, m8's,
Yes I found the nissan's central dash a bit odd but it was a good drive though!
The pathfinder is a bit too pricey and larger than what we need.
Anyone actually owns either of the two cars mentioned in the first post or maybe a better alternative, please be free to comment!!

forrester? Father in law has one and it is a really nice drive. I personally have bought a Navara twin cab for carting the dogs about in. Massive boot that I can split in 2 so I get a bit and the dogs gets a bit. I found that most of the soft roaders had smaller boots than the big (Audi A4, A6, mondeo) estates and I find that once the dog is in the boot is all but useless no matter how big it is.
Have you considered just getting a big estate? Do you need to do the off roading? What dog is it?

I have a LWB Rav4 diesel. As above, what are your criteria? I wanted an MPV sort of thing, the 4x4 is a small bonus, and it has nice trick seats. X-Trail wasn't out when I bought it. Chip takes the diesel to 150bhp (maybe more these days).
But if you don't need the height / 4x4 then an estate car does the job better.
