Nope the cavalier/calibra turbo uses the 2.0ltr LET engine
3.0 V6 can be found in Omega MV6 amoungst other things in NA form. It doesn't take a work of genius to bolt a couple of kkk's to it

Still only of any use in a nova in a straight line, where's the fun in that????

All well and good until the first corner where it would understear into the nearest hedge and end up facing the same way as the driver cap no doubt

People spend a great deal of time, effort and money building cars. Hats off to them all regardless of what base car they use. Snobby remarks about twisties or its only a corsa/Nova etc are not overly constructive to a thread.

what i get really if its using different engines and different parts alltogether its not really a nova , its what the engine`s are ,

how would you keep something like that on the ground id love to see 1 go , a m8`s younger brother is nova and corsa mad he has a 2ltr turbo engine in his corsa running nos and **** me does that thing shift ,
i wouldnt personally have 1 or drive 1 , but to enthusiast`s who want the factor of modding one there self good luck to them , alot of people would probably change there mind if 1 kitted up was at the lights , they would think same as me laugh laugh laugh and think what a complete tosser ,,,,,, then cry if it blew past them (NEVER HAPPENED YET IF IT DID I WOULD CRY)

THE 0-60 2.83 doesnt seem right , thats quicker than 700bhp rs200

There isn't a 3 litre V6 cavalier engine, most nova / corsa conversions use the 2 litre out of the cavalier/astra GSI or the calibra 2.0 turbo lump

Im afraid to say being an ex nova owner (gsi 1.6 8v extensively modified rollcage etc etc) they can suprise some of you subaru owners even the subtle ones! spending around a grand you can easily see tthe low 6 seconds 0-60 yet they maintian there everyday useability (2l 16v engines) and around 2 grand (2l let 16v turbo) this is when subarus will start getting spanked! .I know a few people have killed cossies and imprezas on the 1/4 however you cant really compare these to subarus cause imprezas are serious cars imo. But for messing around with novas these you can get some real pocket rockets. The black one is pretty insane i had some movies of it

Boost beast never stays in one piece even though Chris from Regal spent over 20K on it!!

This is quite quick, Video, not bad for £3000 including buying the shell, its only a crappy 8v with a standard head too

Spec:
£30 2.0 8v Cavalier SRI engine
Standard Calibra Turbo rods
Standard Calibra Turbo pistons
Standard Calibra Turbo injectors
ARP bottom end bolts
6 Speed F28 gearbox converted to FWD
Standard head
Standard cam
Garret T34 turbo
Quaife ATB LSD
Wizards of NOS 75bhp progressive nitrous system
Autronic engine management
Custom drive shafts

With a head, cam and some more gas it would have done a 10
