Question Celica Japanese Import Rear Bumper Question

Posting for a friend who does not have access to www

Can a UK spec rear bumper replace the Japanese version - i.e. to enable standard UK rear number plate size to be fitted?

Thanks.

Which Celica is it??? AFAIK, the licence plate on all but the earliest Celicas are fixed between the rear lights. I would guess most JDM & EU cars use the same bumper (apart from the current Celica where the rear foglamp is on the bumper, & JDM cars doesn't have rear foglamps).

Its not the bumper that needs replacing. The number plate surround comes as a seperate part number and yes they are interchangable

The car is one with the number plate in between the rear lights.
