Ariel Atom
I'm thinking of getting one of the 275BHp Ariel Atoms.
Anyone driven one of these? I'd be interested to hear comments. I plan to test drive one in the next few weeks when I know we have a spell of good weather.
Cheers

Track Day Organiser
Ask Jeremy Clarkson
He loved it
Suggested you get the super charged version with big brakes
I have wanted one of these for ages but the wife wanted a Conservatory and Garage AND a Long haul holiday this year
So I'll stick with a share of a pug for track day fun

New model but not sure if you like the shape of the Westies but I think the target is the Caterham R500 (500BHP/ton) :-)) . Mind you, 30K (selfbuild) 33K (Built) is a hell of a wedge!! I've built a Megabusa but was a bitch to drive as the clutch was so fierce. Thought about an Atom but there is not much to get your hands dirty with....pay your money and drive.

an atom 'fell off' at Oulton the other week. they walked away from it completely unharmed, although it looked like there was some serious pain in the wallet to come as a result- it didn't look well at all bearing in mind it wasn't too heavy an impact
