Default New Pony In The Stable

Well, after living with a LHD smart convertible for 3 years as the wifes car it has finally gone. Now it's been replaced with a Diahatsu Copen Roadster. What a cracking little car! Hardtop folding roof just like an SLK, 660cc of pure turbocharged power, and very nice handling compared to the understeering Smart it's replaced. I can highly recommed this motor if anyone is after fun convertible for a second car.

You do need to be short though. I got in one and found that I could see over the windscreen without trying too hard. Didn't try it with the roof up, although that might have been good for comedy potential...

I have a highly modified Mira Avanzato TRXX R4 which has a similar 660cc setup. Check out www.palsports.co.jp for all manner of tuning bits. You should be able to get 80-100 bhp fairly easily.

Cheers Scooby-Doo, I'll have a gander on there for some after market tuning bits. The copen is certanly in a different league to the smart, a great little run arround!
