I have a Pajero swb and my other half has a 7 seater Toyota Hilux Surf. IMO the Surf is more economical on diesel, but a Pajero has a better spec and more comfortable seats and driving position.

Got a 7 seater K reg Pajero import. Great for family use, very reliable, very comfy, great for towing, has eaten tyres and I've no idea about economy I'm afraid, seem to fill it up regularly tho so am guessing low 20's?

Hi, best for economy will be the 2.8 SWB, 22-25 urban, there all much the same......about low to mid 20's, watch the 2.4 Surf's as they can suffer from Head probs, don't think their much better on mpg than Paj's??.........Lucida's are a tad better mpg and cheaper as well.
