Default My new Ford GT

Here's some pics of me new Ford GT that arrived yesterday.

To say I'm happy, is an understatement.

http://www.evoposters.net/carsa/Ford-GT

I've put 375 miles on it already

Edited to add sound file: http://www.exiges.com/gallery/FordGT.wav

I love the 'gas guzzler' tax on the Registration document. Should win an award for Plain English I reckon

Lovely, however, are you comfortable with being mistaken for Jeremy Clarkson ?

I would have the words 'NO I AM NOT CLARKSON' above the no plate.

It is with sincere thanks

So, judging by the airport info, and the fact that you have only done 375 (very likely memorable miles) would suggest that you are in Scotland. Please feel free to let us know if you are willing to show off your car in public so we can come and drool . Pleeeeaaaassse

Seriously nice car!! Mates dad used to have an original GT40 and Ive always loved them since seeing it!

You've got to be tempted to sell it on for a big profit tho surely?

No, I collected it from Prestwick, but then drove it home to England.

[quote=how long did you have to wait for it ? from the time u put the order in?]

From ordering it from the USA to transporting it to the UK and driving it here, it was about a month.

Excellent vehicle. You'll need to arrange a meet to show us underprivileged people what this muscle is like in the flesh!

Very nice David. Will the replacement be the same colo(U)r? I'm amazed that there is such a mark-up considering the ease with which you were able to get hold of 2, but one always makes one's own luck so good for you (Bet you've got an early 430 coming too damn your eyes )
Rgds,
Chuck

Hi Chuck ! Long time, no speakee.

Yep, the next one will be identical.

No, I don't have my name down for a F430, I really really don't like the styling of them. I appreciate it's performance, but that fussy rear end, the naff wing mirrors and iffy black front vents .. nah.
