Its not really a bright idea ...a m8 (who builds his own grass racers & sprint cars) has offered to lend his knowledge/garage & tools ...& i want to dabble under the bonnet a bit
Ive a budget of £10-12K so could buy an Sti RA /GTiR /Gralé /Evo ...but i fancy getting me hands a bit more dirty than that ...& be a bit different! ...so toying with the idea of raiding the ford parts bin!

Didn't Ford Racing offer a Puma Cosworth conversion using an Escort as a donor car? I remember seeing one on their stand at the Autosport show a few years ago.

I can recal looking a couple years ago at a cosworth powered puma, was getting it for a good price as the company had just built 6 of them & this was the last to go was pushing 400bhp in that little shell
Damn father wouldnt give me the money as i had just spent it on a Saph 4x4
