Angry Audi A8 6.0 quattro - Tad Quick!

Just come back from town when i met up with an Audi A8 on a roundabout. Naturally put my foot down to take him on the forthcoming dual carriage way, when was unable to take him. I stayed with him for the duration of the small stretch but did not gain. It was only when i caught him at the next roundabout, did i notice it was a 6.0L. Quite embarrassed about this, i looked it up on the net and discovered it had twelve-cylinders, 450 bhp and 580 Newton-metres of torque! Not bad for a big car!

0-62 in 5.1s is very good for a car weighing 1960kg I suppose it's in the same league as the big Aston/Bentley/Roller type things. Huge engine and power to lug its bulk around but a good 'box and well sorted chassis make its performance quite astounding.

You would have had 'im in the twisties

I'm with you on the RS6 but add PLUS on the end. Or a Digitec RS2 will do

Thumbs up

The RS6 is, in my opinion, one of the best cars in the world.

If torque is your bag, then get the 4.0 tdi which has something ridiculous like 650 nm.It also does 60 in about 6.5 and 155 top whack which is quicker than a Boxster.

Ideal 2 car garage? RS6 Plus (black, black leather, privacy glass) and a 996 GT3-RS for the weekend....

RS6 would be nice ... but a Sportec RS600 would be even nicer!

My mate got SERIOUSLY shown up by (what must have been, despite no badges) an RS6 - I was in his Scoob with him at the time (classic shape WRX)

He was on its tail expecting to shoot past when the road became duel lane, but as soon as it did the RS6 took off as if he was going backwards! Couldnt believe how well it went!
