Default HELP - Scraped bumper

Hi guys

Some numptie in a has scraped the bumper of their car against the corner of mine a left a 2 inch black mark on mine. I don't think it is paint; more like a black rubbery residue on top of my red paint. Is there any substances that I can use to safely remove this stuff from my bumper or do I need a bumper re-spray......opinions please.

thanks guys......

Try t-cut. If it does nto come off there are LOADS of bumper repair companies who do invisible repairs, and a scratch on the bumper is their bread and butter work... cost.. £40 max.

If its plastic/rubber/paint off the other car then some fine cutting paste or T-cut and some elbow grease will fetch it off.

If you can snag your fingernail when you scratch towards the mark then it's ontop of the paint and can be removed, if your fingernail snags going away from the mark, then it's scretched through the paint and you'll need it resprayed.

Use Tar remover before T-Cut. The T-Cut might dull the finish or make things worse.
