Calling all EVO Experts
My Bruv has recently purchased himself an Evo3 and is thinking of going the Decat route and uprating the Zorst at the same time.
However, he is worried that he might get overboost or boost creep if he changes the diameter exhaust pipe for anything other than standard ?? He is a member of MLR but unfortunately no-one has been able to help.
So my questions are:
1) Can anyone tell me what the standard diameter size of the exhaust pipe is for an Evo3 ?
2) If he is to keep the same sized pipework would he get boost issues if he decats the Evo ?
I am rather hoping there might be someone on here who owns or has owned an Evo3 and Decatted it ??
Cheers

If I were him id put a bigger one on it and if it does fuel cut get a dawes type device to lower the boost untill it doesnt. I'd personally wouldnt set the boost over 1.2 bar with a standard car.
Hope that helps.
