Hi all. Guess there are possible one or two Golf GTI fans out there so I thought I'd post some pics of yesterday's 'GTI International' show over in Suffolk. Gallery link here.

Plenty of interesting stuff on show. 450bhp front-wheel-drive Audi RS4 powered Passat anyone? How about an outwardly standard looking Golf R32 ... with 600bhp?

Plenty of nice machinery, both functional and beautiful, and thankfully not too much of the 'Fast & Furious' influence!

Hehe .. yeah, the 'retro' thing has been growing for the last few years. Each year someone has to 'out-retro' the rest - often at the expense of good-taste! Think they are drawing inspiration from the air-cooled and Cal-look scenes with these Dubs.

Hey, who knows - we might all be rocking whitewalls on our Scoobies this time next year? Louvred rear window anyone?

That twin turbo R32 sounded & the audi engined mark 1 golf was

I thought the place was full of ***** though It was my first GTI international & I wasn't impressed

And who nicked the engine out of that Golf ?!?

I had a 1981 1.6 GTi a few years ago, and I'm sure the engine bay on that wasn't quite so empty !!!
