Went with a mate to have a look at one yesterday. Stunning looking thing in a light green/gold pearl. He ended up putting a deposit on it and picks it up tomorrow. Anything to look out for on these apart from the obvious achilles heel (Renault 25 gearbox)? It`s got low milage fmsh and been really well looked after.

I asked a similar Q a few weeks ago...apparently they are very very fragile and a nightmare to own.....

Sheet, your mates got guts, like turboman ive seen nothing but negatvie reports on their robustness and reliability, but then there will be good and bad ones, so hopefully he finds it alright.

beautiful cars, and very quick, is he planning on using it daily? or is it a toy?

My mates got a red one, amazingly quick. Seriously. You don't get the punch in the back that you get from a scooby but you you glance at the speedo and discover you are doing ridiculous speeds.

Oh dear that might be over 20 grand not well spent but it does look a very good example in pristine condition with only 23k on the clock (P-Reg). It probably won`t be used an awful lot as he`s got a few other cars to smoke about in so it`ll probably be just a toy. And he tends not to thrash them to the limit as well so hopefully it may hold up. Cheers guys.
