Question Nissan primera 2.0e GT

Hi

I'm trying to find one of these at the moment for my sister to replace her 306. Is there an owners club or bbs for these?

Thanks

check the brake pipes running under the car for corrosion. trim on the door cards (the material bit falls off and flaps about). check the radiator for leaks. listen for cam chain rattle. other than that just the usual. it should rev to the red line without protest. they are cheap as chips and i had no trouble with an 1994 L plate from 30-90k when i sold it. you can get 40mpg as well if you drive steady.

Thanks. I'm hoping to be looking at an M reg on Sunday I just can't believe how cheap they are because they are great cars.

I'll look out for those things and I'll check out that site now.

Thanks

You really need to keep a look out for noisy timing chains (rattle from engine) & noisy top front suspension links (knocking noise from front over bumps) otherwise they are fantastic cars especially considering how cheap they are now . Certainly one of Nissan's best kept secrets

The early P10 eGT's also suffered with rust around the rear arches & doglegs.

this can also be caused by worn anti-rollbar drop links and they cost about £9 a side to replace

Normally more of a rattle than a knock tho from the drop links
