Default White alloys > Black alloys

Thank to some little **** that slashed two of my tyres and wrote off one of my alloy wheels, Im left with a slight dilema.
Due to how rare the black ITR is in the UK it's very very hard to find a black alloy off the car that someone will sell, but white ones are easy to find.
So what do you think of the white alloys on my car?

Old wheels:

Might be gettin wheels:

It seriously changes the looks of the car, from a stealthy like look to a rally esq look, so what are people views?

I have to say I prefer the original wheels. However, before I looked at the picture with the white wheels I was expecting it to look horrendous!! I was wrong. The white wheels (IMHO) suit the car quite well, a nice contrast. There is a black pulsar around my neck of the woods with white wheels and it looks awful! maybe it is something to do with the wheel style as well. Just my 2ps worth!

I prefer the white wheels. Black does look stealthy, but the white is more noticeable. I like it

ps - awesome car! I am trawling the net to find one of them as we speak!

I am looking to spend ~£8000 ish. Want a standard car, with the exception of perhaps an exhaust upgrade.

Must be a UK model, with FSH and below 50k miles. Prefer red or white.

I have a VR6 to sell 1st though!

Cheers
Mike

The only problem with the white wheels on ITRs is that they always go yellow

I 2nd Andy's suggestion.

White looks a bit Ford Escort with white wheel trim naff.

The anthracite looks in tone with the car.

Not that I'm biased as I have the same

Hmm, glad I found this thread, I have a black ITR too, and was considering white wheels as my track wheels....I have to agree with some of the others, I think it looks pretty mean
