Default Renault Clio 182 + cup suspension

Hi,
Been reading the Clio 182 threads with great interest and I am seriously thinking of getting one.
Question,
Does anyone know of a place other than Renault UK where I can buy a brand new one with the Suspension & spoiler options for about £12,500 ??
Motorpoint, Tradesales etc only sell "standard" cars and cannot seem to order these cars from the factorys (presumably in Europe somewhere).

Anyone...

Cheers

Was looking on my company's employee car purchase scheme (brought to you by the good people at DriveSmart) and they can supply a Clio 182 for £11,822 including Cup Suspension and Spoiler.

At that price I might chop in my STi and get one of these and a track car!

Need something I can put into a wall.....you haven't seen me drive LOL!

I couldn't trust myself in a car I had to use everyday, also quite fancy a RWD for that drifty feeling.

me too!,

Has anybody test driven the 182 standard and the 182 plus cup options. I've read the evo reviews but is it that bad as standard?

obviously easier to find without the cup options.

pryally,

I think a couple of guys over at http://forum.cliosport.net have driven both, with the consesus of opinion favouring the Cup suspension! Not that the non-cup'd cars are going to be bad, supposedly better than the outgoing 172 and I can tell you that was a hoot to drive!!

OK, progress report...
http://www.eusacar.com/index2.html can supply me a brand new Clio 182 with spoiler & suspension options for £13,195. (do a search on autotrader)
This is a UK car sourced from Renault UK with a full 3yr warranty, CAT1, blah, blah, blah.
They can get all colours in approx 1-2 weeks and are based in Newcastle but deliver natonwide. They are a Broker and not a dealer so I imagine they make a nice bit of profit on that price, so perhaps with a bit of negotiation and you can get at least that price from your local Renault dealer?

Anyone found cheaper for a UK car? I'm beginning to wonder if the £1,500 price difference between a Euro standard car and a "clio cupped" UK car is worth the extra dosh.
Can't you just paint the wheels anthracite and get some eibachs

Danny, i started the clio Vs. cup thread. i did find a place 200 notes cheaper than eusacar for a uk car but as i'm in Newcastle and so are they i've decided to go with them. the guy i spoke to (adam) had even ordered one for himself.
Gotta admit that it was tempting to go for the motorpoint import with no options but i figured for the difference, a uk car with the cat 1 and the cup suspension option will be easier to shift and rate a higher price come time to chopping it in, plus i'm pretty much getting it for the driving experience so the cup option was a must.
gonna go and see eusacar tomorrow lunchtime i think as a precaution, if everything looks ok then they get my hard earned (or not so hard earned depends who you ask). good luck m8

Thanks Rich, I'll give them a call tomorrow and check that their cars definitely do have the cup suspension at that price.

Matlow, let me know how you get on with Adam tomorrow.

Richard, do I take it that that price is excusive to employees? Can you find iout if they deal to private customers for the same price?

It is a UK car so I guess the standard UK warranty applies

This is 'exclusive' to employees, but I don't think its *that* exclusive - it doesn't feel like they have negoticated special discounts specifically for us, I'm sure they would have made a bigger song and dance about it if they had.

I'm sure with a bit of pushing you could get the same price - after all I guess they are a volume business. Could even get a Scoobynet price for Plus members - I guess that's one for Simon D B.

Not bad at all, I'd assume a smidge more for cup spoiler and metallic paint? I forgot to ask about those,
